HEAT
Lets look at the first obvious danger that could harm your chickens: HEAT, yes...HEAT ot he human body is bearable, seeing as the human can use its brain to go and fetch water when it is needed, and food for that matter as well as , in this case, get a refreshment to cool down. Chickens will feed on whatever they can find when their taste buds allow it (haha).
HEAT can lead to total exhaustion and even worse death!
Here are some ideas on what you can do to cool down your coop or the area where your chickens roam: i placed ice cubicles inside the water of the drinkers, to cool down the water in this heat, chickens will drink more watewr if it is cool! This is essential for egg production and formulation.

RUBBER EGGS or SOFT EGGS
Soft or Rubber eggs have a variety of reasons as to their failure, Chickens need a a lot of water for eggs production, failure to take in enough water especially in heat wave conditions, will give you rubber or soft eggs.
Stress is another main factor for a rubber or soft egg, heat stress, too much noise around the cop too often, shipping of chickens etc. there are multiple stresses chickens encounter.
CALCIUM DEFICIENCY
Chickens are often found laying rubber or soft eggs because of calcium deficiency, this can be sorted with crushed oyster shell or i just give my babies crushed egg shells, that i've left in the window pain for about a half an hour to dry out. you don't want your roosters or event the hens to realize how yummy the contents of the eggs are?? If your chickens start eating their eggs it is important to go about finding ways to teach them not to eat the egg, more on that later
