WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE WHEN YOUR NEW HEN STARTS TO LAY AN EGG?

I Recently bought 8 New Hens – and it was the best decision ever – my passion for chickens started when my partner and i first discovered the Boschveld Chickens, bread right here in South Africa!
These eggs, or other known as Rubber Eggs or soft Eggs, the cause can be a variety of things, calcium deficiency, stress etc etc.
6 of my Hens were ALREADY laying beautiful EGGS, and TWO of them were not! I started noticing that when i would collect Sally’s (My BEST Layer) and her sisters EGGS, rubber eggs were found in the nest, broken soft EGGS as well as soft SHELLED EGGS!
this happened for two days in a row, and after that i started getting 8 BEAUTIFUL smallish EGGS from all of my Hens.

It is therefore my THEORY – my own opinion, that if you have new layers, or YOUNG HENS, and you find that when you collect EGGS, there are RUBBER EGGS or SOFT EGGS in the nest boxes or either just on the ground or scattered in the coop, TAKE A BREATH OF EXCITEMENT, and expect beautiful EGGS from your new YOUNG LAYERS!
